
Sousse, the"Pearl of the Sahel", is ancient city, founded by the Phoenicians, Hadrumetum quickly climbed to the third Punic cities, after Carthage and Utica. Today, it is the capital of the Tunisian Sahel. It is a very active industrial center, including textiles, engineering industries, construction materials.
